Casino Daylight

A local band that plays Indie/Alt Rock music mostly at local bars and small venues.

A New Logo

The band wanted a new logo designed as their old logo was a very square shaped design that was difficult to use on advertisement material and gig posters. I was given complete creative freedom with this design which allowed me to play around with different ideas before deciding on this design.

Headliner Gig Poster

The band also wanted a poster made using this new logo to promote their first ever headlining gig. They had a very specific image that they wanted which I was able to develop whilst also suggesting some additions that they were very happy with. They were strict on having the information be clear to read along with their supporting acts being clear to see as they wanted to support the growth of the other bands that they were working with.

EP Cover

Casino Daylight gave me the opportunity to design the cover for their first EP “If you only believed me”. They provided me with some images and let me have free reign over the creative process. With a project like this being very preference dependant, I decided to design multiple different designs with multiple variations each. I developed many designs, some of which are shown bellow, to get a feel for the bands preference. They really liked aspects of two of the designs and wanted a combination of the blurred faces along with the greyscale image excluding the instrument which I developed and produced a final design they were very happy with.

Other Cover Designs

First Gig Poster

This was the first project I worked on with Casino Daylight, being a poster for their first ever gig. I designed this poster with an inspiration from the alt rock music they play along with making use of the shape of their old logo needing a large amount of space.
